Students will learn how to create 3D objects with clay. They will also learn to paint and blend with acrylic paint. Space is limited and you must submit a work sample.
Students read fifteen books from the Sunshine State Young Readers Book List. Participants will "battle" in teams to answer comprehension about the books.

In this audition-only club, students will be introduced to percussion techniques on various mallet instruments. They will participate in the Winter Concert where they will perform multicultural pieces in Orff-like arrangements.
The Percussion Club meets during the Fall Semester.
Students will learn about the history of the Ukulele and be taught basic chord fingerings and strumming technique. Participants will practice songs of varying degrees of complexity and will perform in the Spring Concert. Students are accepted on a first come, first served basis.

In this club, I introduce students to many aspects of art including relief art, painting, drawing, design, creativity, and various projects created from everyday upcycled items.
